The first franchised branch of LECKENBY’S opened in December 2011, situated next to the prestigious Kendals (House of Fraser) department store.
In our newly created image featuring Art Deco posters and a Palm tree, this spacious new Tea Rooms is the ideal place to relax, whether in the middle of shopping or having a break from work.

Our friendly and efficient Waiting On staff will greet you and show you to your table, and gladly take your order when you are ready. Our catering staff in the kitchen will then prepare your food and drink using only the very best products, mostly locally sourced, to offer you what we believe to be a top quality meal or drink, whether you are looking for a three course meal or just a freshly ground coffee or one of our many loose-leaf teas.

We are licensed and we specialise in the most traditional of all British offerings – Champagne Afternoon Tea (Go on...indulge yourself!)

Our aim is to provide you with a beautiful and spotlessly clean environment in which to enjoy a well-earned break. No queuing here at the counter waiting for your coffee whilst picking up a pre-packed snack, then looking for an empty table! We’ll look after you from the minute you walk through our door.

On the way in, you will notice our range of retail lines, especially our wonderful selection of Cheshire Farms Ice Creams, and Slattery’s of Whitefield cakes, all of which may be enjoyed in the Tea Rooms, or taken away afterwards.

Manchester is a major tourist destination, with attractions too many to mention. With the many thousands of visitors mingling with local shoppers, residents and workers, LECKENBY’S is ideally placed to cater for the needs of the more discerning clientelle.
